Our founder, 🚀Aykut Karaalioglu met with Assemblymember Marc Berman who represents District 23 in the San Francisco Peninsula and Silicon Valley, as part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the contributions of Turkish tech professionals. We explored collaboration opportunities in AI literacy and election integrity. We also discussed workforce development through community college programs and how Turks in Tech can contribute to these initiatives. We continue to meet with California Senate and Assembly members to further these efforts and foster innovation.

🇺🇸🏛️Our founder 🚀Aykut Karaalioglu met with Senator Scott Wiener at his district office to discuss the importance of Turks in Tech and the future of Californian-Turkish American collaboration. Senator Wiener, who represents California’s 11th Senate District, is a leading advocate for housing affordability, public transportation, and mental health services. Recently, his focus has been on addressing the state’s housing crisis and expanding tenant protections. We will continue our efforts by meeting with other members of both the California Senate and Assembly to raise awareness about our community and further strengthen ties between Turkish-American professionals and the tech sector in California.
