We are delighted to share that Ray Halbritter has been included in City & State’s Upstate Power 100. His leadership has nurtured our enterprise and our community bringing about growth and evolution.
Congratulations to our CEO Ray Halbritter for being included in City & State’s Upstate Power 100. Each year the publication highlights individuals who make outstanding contributions to Upstate New York. This is a well-deserved honor given the incredible role his leadership has played in the success of the Oneida Indian Nation and Turning Stone Enterprises. Ray Halbritter’s vision and leadership have made the Nation one of Upstate New York’s largest employers and a national leader in the gaming and hospitality sectors. The story notes how reinvestments like the Turning Stone Evolution and expansion at Point Place Casino will have a generational impact on local communities, job creation and more. The Nation’s role as an economic engine has fueled its cultural revitalization as well - including the creation of the Mary C. Winder Community Center, a 90,000-square-foot facility that is among the largest of its kind in the country. Not even six months old, the community center hosted the World Lacrosse Box Championships earlier this fall and welcomed the U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, the first Native American to serve as a U.S. Cabinet Secretary and the highest-ranking federal official ever to visit Oneida lands. https://lnkd.in/eiVYWZWx
