About us

Turnstone is on a mission to empower people with disabilities. Founded in 1943 as Allen County Society for Crippled Children, Turnstone has been meeting the needs of children and adults with physical disabilities for the past 68 years. The agency is excited to offer a variety of programs and services to the residents of northeast Indiana and further. It is our mission to 'enhance the lives of all persons with physical disabilities and their families'. Turnstone Center for Children & Adults With Disabilities is committed to inclusion and diversity in its activities, programs, hiring practices, and volunteer utilization.
