All through March, we are celebrating Women’s Day, honoring stories of strength and transformation. Read on to see how Cauvery Kesavasamy embraced change, turning challenges into opportunities.   Cauvery’s Journey of Reinvention   Cauvery’s story is one of courage, resilience, and the unrelenting pursuit of reinvention. With a background in Law and an MBA in Marketing, she began her professional life thriving as a Relationship Manager in banking. But life had its twists.   One such turning point came in 2010 when she survived a near-fatal train accident, suffering a spine fracture that required months of recovery. This was a time of immense perseverance, as she rebuilt her strength with grace while creating meaningful connections. She used this phase to strengthen her bond with her mother, practicing Tamil and teaching her Hindi, proving that growth is possible even in confinement.   Later, a move to the U.S. on a dependent visa put her career on pause, forcing her to step away from the person she knew herself to be. During those years, she embraced the roles of parent and community builder, volunteering at her daughter’s school and the local library. These years also ignited a deep passion for writing and self-growth, as she reinvented herself through learning and creativity. What seemed like a detour became a foundation for the person she was yet to become.   Cauvery’s return to India in 2019 marked a personally challenging time, as she navigated her path to find her footing and rise stronger, determined to grow wings and soar. Reconnecting with her love for storytelling, Cauvery went on to publish three books and is currently working on her fourth. She took on part-time, freelance, and contractual roles, rebuilding her skills and confidence with each step until she made her biggest leap- joining TVS Next full-time after a 12-year break from her last work-from-office role. Today, she uses her passion for storytelling to craft narratives that inspire and connect, proving that reinvention can lead to extraordinary outcomes.   Cauvery’s story is a celebration of resilience, not as an ability to endure but as the courage to evolve. It’s about trusting the pause, daring to pivot, and believing in new beginnings.
