    Why Won’t You Pay Us for Fraud? So - controversial post from Twinkly Ads. Happy Monday and let’s go! "Why won’t you pay us for fraud?" The truth is, two years ago, hearing this question from a partner was practically unheard of. Now we hear it extremely often when we tell a network that there is 100% fraud on the offer. It's also interesting to hear the reasoning behind asking this question - "But we did the work." But the advertiser did the work as well - so why should they be the ones to pay for fraud that brings them 100% harm and 0% benefit? We agree that digital marketing has changed a lot in recent years. If seven years ago, partners refused to work on CPA and demanded only CPI without KPIs, now no one is surprised even by reconciliation with the advertiser’s CRM. The work has become more challenging. Fraud has become more noticeable. The budgets have to work much harder. And that's great! At Twinkly Ads, we believe that now, more than ever, digital marketing has become beneficial for both advertisers and networks because with improved fraud detection mechanisms, traffic is finally bringing obvious value to advertisers. That’s why we always try to meet networks halfway, raise rates even at our own expense, and cover part of the overcap if we can. But we are never willing to pay for fraudulent traffic.

    Is there a future in mobile marketing? Our team can say with great confidence - YES! The mobile industry has been growing exponentially over the last decade and this is just the beginning. According to Sensor Tower report, "consumers will spend more than $2T in apps between 2021-2030". Based on our 8 years experience in the industry, we agree with their forecast and believe that the actual number may even be higher. The massive trend that we've noticed is that not only gaming apps are actively being advertised online but also delivery, taxi, entertainment and finance categories are showing truly remarkable performance. Obviously these apps are looking for a paying audience and high LTV, which might be a difficult task for some due to fraudulent traffic.
