TOSA established a Rock Garden where donor families and those connected to the donation and transplantation community can leave a rock alongside the Donor Memorial Garden. This summer, Donor Family Services held Rock Painting Workshops for families to leave a rock in honor of a loved one. Last week, TOSA staff across our region joined in and created rock artwork to add to the garden. Thank you to all those who participated and expressed their passion for our mission through art. For more information about TOSA's Rock Garden, please email DFServices@TOSA1.org.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we're sharing inspirational stories from Hispanic and Latino organ recipients and donor families to highlight the critical need for Hispanic and Latino organ donors in our communities. Today for #TestimonialTuesday, we're honored to share the story of Jacqueline Martinez as told by her sister, Janet Martinez. Before Jacqueline passed away from a car accident, nobody in her family talked to her about organ donation since she was so young. After being in the hospital for five days, the Martinez family had to made a difficult decision. They decided to help Jacqueline give the gift of life and become a hero by saving eight people's lives, including a 15-year-old girl who received her heart. Hear Janet tell the inspiring story of Jacqueline's gift of life:https://lnkd.in/grJxTHXM To learn more about organ donation or to sign up to become a donor, head to our website: TOSA1.org
