We apologize for the confusion but wanted to let you know that the celebration for Mr. Schrader is by invitation only for the donors to this fund and special guests of the department, and the university is not able to accommodate additional guests. Thank you to everyone who has commented and expressed their admiration and appreciation for Mr. Schrader's legacy.
The late George Schrader will be celebrated and honored on October 18 by the creation of the George R. Schrader Professor of Practice in Local Government Management at the University of North Texas. George is one of seven TCMA members in its nearly 100 years to receive distinguished membership. His career reflected outstanding contributions to the management profession and good local government and whose years of distinctive service and contributions have been particularly beneficial to the association and the council-manager plan. TCMA is proud that George’s name and example of service will be carried on.
