Around the world each year, developed countries generate approximately one waste tire per person. Collecting these billions of waste tires for disposal or recycling poses steadily increasing logistical, economic and environmental challenges. Tyrex Resources, LLC’s (“Tyrex” dba CompacTyres) mission is to utilize its patented, proprietary tire compaction process to revolutionize the global waste tire collection industry resulting in greater efficiency, productivity, profitability, professionalism and environmental sustainability. When it comes to managing the collection and disposal of waste tires, the industry has simply accepted the status quo. Auto dealers, tire stores, manufacturers and collectors go through the same motions, execute the same inefficient process and incur the same costs – almost with an “if it isn't broken - don't fix it” mindset. This is because they’ve never been presented with a pioneering technology combined with an evolved methodology for managing and collecting the tires – an approach that delivers major financial benefits to all of the entities involved. The patended technology created by Tyrex for compacting tires allows us to rewrite the “manual” when it comes to managing the scrap tire waste stream sequence.
