Tysers runs Manchester Half Marathon for Nordoff and Robbins, the UK’s largest music therapy charity. Last weekend Tim Thornhill, Rob McCurrie and Tom Hodgson completed the 13.1 mile route starting from Old Trafford, and covering Hulme, City Centre, Stretford, Sale and Chorlton. Collectively the team raised £2,543 for Nordoff and Robbins who do fantastic work breaking through the barriers caused by life-limiting illness, disability and social isolation by providing music therapy to people across the UK whilst also training the music therapists of the future. #NordoffandRobbins #ManchesterHalfMarathon #TysersTeam #fundraising

The Tysers Live Team attended the Theatres Trust conference ‘Making Theatres Thrive’ on Tuesday 8th October at The Lowry, Salford.   Jon Morgan Theatre’s Trust Director opened the conference in the wonderful Quays Theatre and The Lowry’s julia fawcett gave an inspirational speech about her journey in becoming the theatres CEO which supported her message that the arts really do have the power to transform lives.   Sustainability was a hot topic with an interesting presentation from Ian Archer at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford and how they have delivered sustainability in their theatre and the difference it has made. Last week Tysers Live Advertising and Commercials team had a fantastic evening attending the Advertising Producers Association (APA) Show 2024. “It was an excellent evening with fellow sponsors Markel International. Every year we’re so impressed by the quality of the commercials being produced, and their ability to make you cry or laugh from one piece to the next,” said Lauren Green. “We were especially happy to see some of our clients up on the big screen at the British Film Institute (BFI)'s iconic NFT1 cinema and to see how the scripts are transformed from the page to the screen.
