The big news over the weekend was the sublime victory by Tadej Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates in this year’s Tour de France. In also winning Sunday’s time trial in Nice – stage 21 of the Tour and his sixth stage victory of the race – Tadej achieved the TdF and Giro d’Italia ‘double’, having won the latter earlier this year. Italian Marco Pantani was the last athlete to complete this ‘double’ in 1998.

Yesterday's UAE Tour's ALDAR stage (6) was an absolute blast, with riders covering 138 km from Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum to Abu Dhabi Breakwater. A big thank you to Mauro Gianetti, the Team Principal & CEO of UAE Team Emirates, and the driving force behind UAE Team Emirates, for spending time with us. And hearty congratulations to Jay Vines for snagging the Red Jersey.
