Continuing our #40YearsOfExcellence celebration and starting off the week with Careless Whisper by George Michael, the number one song on the Billboard charts in 1985.  “Originally released in the UK as George Michael’s debut solo single on July 23rd 1984, Careless Whisper was included in the final tracklisting for WHAM!’s second album Make It Big. Although the track was co-written with his bandmate Andrew Ridgley, the pair decided it should belong to George... The song was originally written in 1981 by George while he was on a bus, en route to a DJ gig in North-West London. Based on a teenage experience of two-timing two different girls, he imagined the consequences if one had found out about the other...It topped the US Billboard Hot 100 in February 1985 where it also stayed for three weeks, becoming the number-one song of the year.” -https://lnkd.in/ghreURQ7 In 1985, UASI hired their longest employee, Vicki Emery who now serves as a Project Supervisor in Billing & Collections and Revenue Integrity. This was also the year that UASI also began offering lost charge/nurse and audit/compliance solutions!  🥁 🎷 🎹 Craving more Billboard #1 hits? UASI is celebrating #40YearsOfExcellence! We couldn’t think of a better way to start and end the week than with the groovy tunes that topped the Billboard charts over the past 40 years. Join us every Monday and Friday as we look back over the past 40 years and reminisce about the music we’ve lived our lives to.  In 1984, the first year that UASI opened up shop, Prince’s release, When Doves Cry, stunned the billboard charts for five weeks straight!  “Speaking of amazing, 40 years ago (May 16, 1984), His Royal Badness dropped the lead single from his magnum opus soundtrack album (from the equally seminal movie) “Purple Rain”. When Doves Cry spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (one of those weeks was 40 years ago on the week of July 28). The song’s cultural impact was seismic. It had to be to become the top selling single of 1984.” -https://lnkd.in/gUytbg_A 🎵 🎺 🎸 Can’t get enough musical nostalgia? Check out our #40YearsOfExcellence Spotify and Youtube playlist and see which songs made it to the top of the charts from 1984-2024! In a recent article, we outline 6 key reasons to outsource your coding. CEO of Northern Inyo Healthcare District, Stephen DelRossi, MSA shares, “With a coding outsource, organizations do not need to spend money, time, and resources in hiring, training, and retaining experienced coders. Outsourcing is a cost-effective solution to reducing an organization’s administrative costs, as well as decreasing the administrative strain in the HIM department. In consideration of a coding outsource, it’s important to develop a cost-benefit analysis as well as determining appropriate, reportable KPIs.” “As I make changes to the RCM, one constant will be UASI because of their expertise and because of how they work with everyone on my side to effectively train my staff and to educate my providers.” Are you facing coding challenges with quality, compliance, or revenue?
