Looking forward to another day and seeing many familiar and new faces! Come see us at VISION in Stuttgart: Hall 8, Booth E6.04!
Ubicept revolutionizes how machines perceive the world by combining next-generation image sensors with advanced computer vision algorithms. Ubicept’s dynamic team is shaping the next generation of perception and computer vision to make the world a safer, better understood place. By doing so, we reinvent the future of mobility, robotics and consumer applications. Ubicept was founded in 2021 by experts in computer vision and machine learning. Collectively, our team brings decades of experience from both academia (MIT, University of Wisconsin-Madison) and industry (Google, Facebook, Skydio, Optimus Ride). Our research has appeared in top academic journals and conferences. Together, we strive to bring these groundbreaking developments to market with our growing portfolio of industry partners.

Attending VISION 2024? If so, visit us at Start-up World, Hall 8, Stand E6.04! We’ll be showcasing an exclusive sneak peek of our non-line-of-sight system. And this is just the beginning—our team has been hard at work on some groundbreaking innovations that we’re excited to announce and demonstrate in the coming months. Stay tuned!
Wow! Huge congratulations to Mohit Gupta and his awesome team for winning the SIGGRAPH 2024 Emerging Technologies Best in Show Award with their groundbreaking work on “A Live Demo of Single-photon Imaging and Applications.” We’re proud to have supported their efforts to highlight the incredible potential of this technology.
Fantastic article about Mohit Gupta, one of our founding advisors, and his pioneering work on single-photon imaging! If you happen to be at SIGGRAPH 2024, stop by Booth 463 in the Emerging Technologies area to see some of the amazing capabilities of these next-generation sensors.
At the WISION Lab, Professor Mohit Gupta’s research in single-photon imaging is all about "seeing the world in a new light." Thanks to rising industry interest — and campus partners like Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) — his work is gaining unprecedented traction. Unlike typical cameras, ultra sensitive single-photon cameras are able to detect light down to its most fundamental unit: the photon. “As academics, we’re often concerned with what happens when we push something to its limit,” says Gupta. “These cameras will allow us to capture the visual world around us to the maximum fidelity that physics allows." From extreme robotics to cancer research to self-driving cars, find out what Gupta's work could mean in our latest: https://lnkd.in/gxmu_d6q
We’re back with another demo! Many folks have asked us how well our technology works with conventional camera sensors, so we decided to test it ourselves and share the results. Enjoy!
New demo time! Today, we’re seeing how our solution stacks up against conventional cameras for face landmark detection in low light. This was a fun demo to create! Hope everyone is having a good holiday season.
Hey, we’re in the news today! Check out this article in The Boston Globe which features our co-founders Sebastian Bauer and Tristan Swedish discussing our technology and the future of imaging.
