Nearly 70 alumni and students attended a first-generation focused networking night in Storrs earlier this week. The Honorable Shanique Fenlator '07 (CLAS), '11 JD shared her journey from Jamaica to UConn and to her appointment as an administrative law judge. Today, the most famous resident of UConn Nation is synonymous with the University: Jonathan, the name given to successive generations of beloved huskies who cheer on athletic teams from the sidelines, delight students, faculty, and visitors when taking cross-campus strolls, and serve as the ultimate goodwill ambassador for UConn.
