We’re thrilled to share the IC3's work was featured in The Independent Florida Alligator! The article, titled "What’s the Newest Step in AI? UF Researchers Say Combating Breast Cancer," highlights the groundbreaking work our team is doing in developing machine learning tools to help doctors detect tumors and personalize care.  Using machine learning and AI, our team is making diagnostics more efficient, allowing patients to begin chemotherapy and radiation sooner than ever before. Dr. Pinaki Sarder, the center’s associate director for imaging, predicts AI will one day even help formulate a cure for cancer -- but assures us that technology will never replace the essential role of medical professionals. On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of hosting the IC3 Welcome Kickoff to introduce our new members and discuss future IC3 events.
