The UF College of Pharmacy is training the next generation of pharmacists to make a difference in Florida’s medically underserved communities. New research presented at the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) annual meeting indicates that all University of Florida pharmacy students completed at least one clinical rotation at a site in a medically underserved area of Florida in the 2023-24 academic year. By working directly with these patient populations, our student pharmacists learn firsthand how essential pharmacists are in providing care and serving as patient advocates. https://lnkd.in/gTDtj7r7
