#MeetUCT » Meet Corey Bigelow, Production Technician IV at UCT's Scarborough facility in Maine! Starting in 2010, Corey has been committed to ensuring the quality of recycled parts, and his experience has propelled him into his current role as a Production Technician. "UCT has empowered me to expand my skills," Corey says. "I've not only gained expertise in quality assurance and product inspection, but also learned to implement Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen principles to create effective and safe work environments." Corey's impact is visible throughout our cleanroom operations. He has partnered with engineering on process improvements, and his insights on product assembly and quality assurance are invaluable. Corey reflects on the many learning experiences that he has gained working in the #semiconductorindustry. “I've been particularly fascinated by the intricacies of surface and atmospheric particle counters, as well as the power of ultrasonic systems.” When he’s not at work, Corey embraces the beautiful Maine landscape — hiking, kayaking, mini-biking, and camping. This joyous occasion is a time for parades, concerts, and dazzling firework displays across the country. We connected with industry leaders and experts, showcasing UCT ChemTrace's proactive contamination monitoring — including precursor, in-film & bevel edge analysis — and precision high-purity, non-destructive part cleaning and coating capabilities. Our discussions highlighted the critical role of ultra-high purity cleaning, coating, and analytical testing in #ALD processes. Fabs using ALD technology can leverage these solutions to optimize performance and yield. Rahmah brings 33 years of diverse experience across multiple industries, positioning her for success in the manufacturing and #semiconductor sectors. "I was on a break from my previous one-year contract with a pharmaceutical company, working remotely for their headquarters in Europe," Rahmah shared. "UCT offered a permanent position, also working remotely, which fits well with my situation and goals for the next move in my career." Since joining UCT in May 2022, Rahmah has applied her Microsoft Power Platform expertise to develop innovative solutions for user needs and streamline business processes. Her adaptability and eagerness to learn are evident in her core responsibilities: translating complex requirements into user-friendly applications and leveraging cutting-edge #technology. Outside of work, Rahmah enjoys family time, caring for her 14 rescued cats, and pursuing her passion for horses through handling, grooming, and supporting her daughter's show jumping competitions.
