    This Umault ad has taken me 4 years to make. I'll explain... It was 2020, and we were not very busy (to put it lightly). As a huge sci-fi fan, I've always wanted to make a space movie. But we had no budget and no actors. The solution? Recruit the family! So I built a very shoddy wooden spaceship set, and on one hot August morning, shot the first part of this ad (you can watch the BTS of that first part here: https://lnkd.in/eVcyzaD). I made it an Umault ad because, well, we were not very busy. It performed exceptionally well, and everyone asked for more. So, in 2021, we added to the story—and have done so every year since. Incidentally, you can tell when it's a new year after our logo and tagline comes up. I have no idea how many episodes we'll make since I don't know how long my kids will want to make these. But I know the ending, and we shot part of it in 2021. All the other parts between now and the end are just a game of writing myself into corners and trying to get out of them. 😬 I hope you enjoy it!

    🧟♂️ What getting bit by a zombie has taught me about B2B sales… 👀 Identify the Problem: Clearly, my problem was an imminent zombie transformation. In B2B sales, you need to identify your customers' pain points with the same level of urgency. Whether it’s low productivity or high churn, you’ve got to know what’s gnawing at them. 🏃➡️ Adopt a Relentless Approach: If zombies are anything, they’re persistent. They don’t give up. In B2B sales, you’ve got to channel that same level of relentless follow-up (minus the groaning and limb-dragging). Stay on it until you convert. 🪓 Embrace Change: Look, once you’re bitten, you have to accept that life as you know it is over. The same applies when market conditions shift or new competitors emerge. Adapt or risk getting left behind (or worse, “un-dead”). 🛡️ Build a Resilient Network: I wasn’t alone in this fight. I had my zombie apocalypse crew – just like you need your B2B sales team. It’s a collaborative effort. Even if you’re the “sales hero,” remember: there’s no surviving (or closing deals) without your support network. So yeah, getting bit by a zombie wasn’t ideal. But if it taught me anything, it’s that sales is about turning challenges into opportunities.
