  • Another successful alum! Emily Foxen-Craft was featured on the Chronic Pain Reset Podcast with Dr. Afton Hassett.   They discussed what's unique about pediatric chronic pain, up to date research, and the importance of early intervention. They share messages directly to clinicians, parents, and children too. It's available now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify (links in comments).

(THIS FRIDAY-July 19 is the free Meet & Greet for September’s group, if you are a BIPOC Clinician stop by to say hello & learn more about the upcoming group. ) 👋🏽 Hello and happy July! In 2008, July was designated as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month to raise awareness around the unique challenges that various minority groups face in terms of accessing mental health support. Bebe Moore Campbell was a celebrated Black author & journalist who struggled with accessing mental health care for her daughter and became a national spokesperson and mental health advocate. There is still so much to be done to address racial and ethnic disparities in mental health across the nation. I am a firm believer in the power of community to help us build capacity & create change. I love being a resource and getting to know great clinicians -so that when I’m asked for recommendations I can be of service. I have the privilege of supporting mental health providers on their journey to be of service in their communities. Professional networks with other BIPOC clinicians are critical when it comes to case consultation, troubleshooting, early career support and knowledge of local resources. I have two upcoming offers to support #BIPOC Clinicians and help strengthen the professional networks we have: In August, there will be a 3 hr Notes & Networking Party: https://lnkd.in/dpbruWmp In September, we have a 6 week group for BIPOC Clinicians with ADHD, it’s starts. 9/20 at noon EDT: https://lnkd.in/gr5_GKr2 #BIPOCawarenessmonth #Minoritymentalhealthawarenessmonth #BIPOCTherapist #privatepracticesuccess #mentalhealth #BIPOCClinician #BlackTherapist #Latinxtherapist #AAPItherapist #IndigenousTherapist
