What an incredible time at the Sharjah International Children's Film Festival in the United Arab Emirates! 🌟 This year’s festival featured over 100 excellent films from around the world, showcasing creativity and storytelling by a wonderfully diverse group of filmmakers. 🎬 It was our international premiere and we were thrilled that director/screenwriter Josh Peterson could attend. He loved engaging with the audience of international filmmakers and Emirati students and answering their questions. Special thanks to all who attended and watched our film! 💫 #SIFF2024 #SharjahSIFF #TheUnbrokenSky #Sharjah #UAE #YouthFilmmakers #FilmFestival #IndieFilm

PBS SoCal and Latino Public Broadcasting present VOCES: LATINO VOTE 2024, a new documentary and collection of digital shorts examining the priorities of the politically diverse Latino electorate in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election. Directed and produced by Bernardo Ruiz (as a follow up to his 2020 documentary), and produced by Andres Cediel along with Marcia Robiou, the film focuses on the key issues that will drive Latino voter turnout in some of the most hotly contested battleground states, including Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The film also delves into the efforts both political parties are making to reach the Latino electorate in California and Florida, two states with large Latino populations. VOCES: LATINO VOTE 2024 premieres Tuesday, October 22 at 10pm ET (check local listings) on PBS, PBS.org, and YouTube with a special early release of the documentary on Wednesday, October 9 on the PBS app. #LatinoVote #VocesPBS #PBS #documentaries

Meet the team 🎥 Michael C. Camuñez, another of our amazing Executive Producers, is a leader in international business and public policy, driving change from grassroots to the global stage. 🌍 As President & CEO of Monarch Global Strategies LLC, he bridges business and government relations across Mexico and Latin America. 🤝 Michael’s impact goes beyond the boardroom. As a former Assistant Secretary of Commerce, he was a voice for U.S. economic policy abroad and helped launch AmeriCorps, empowering over a million young Americans to serve. 🇺🇸 Raised by a single mother in New Mexico, Michael understands the challenges of poverty. Today, he champions children, youth, and economic opportunity through his work at Stanford University, The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and City Year Los Angeles. His story shows that true leaders not only succeed but also lift others up. ✊ #Leadership #SocialImpact #GlobalBusiness #LatinoLeaders #PublicPolicy
