Caring for three children. Balancing two jobs. Managing household chores. For 34-year-old Samia, every day was as exhausting as the other until she joined the UNICEF-supported parenting sessions in Syria. Samia learned how to manage stress, implement positive discipline and nurture her children's growth and development. "Parents shared their experiences, which was interesting for me. I felt relieved to know that I am not struggling alone," Samia reflects. One of her children, nine-year-old Tala, faces significant challenges with intellectual disabilities and speech difficulties. The sessions guided Samia on how to effectively support her daughter’s unique needs. "Thanks to the support I received, I feel deeply connected to my children. I know how to communicate with them, solve their problems and ensure they are heard," Samia shares with pride.
