Halloween is full of fun and fright, but let’s keep it safe for everyone roaming the streets. Whether you're behind the wheel or out trick-or-treating, a few extra precautions can make all the difference. For Drivers: 1. Stay alert and keep a close eye out for pedestrians, especially in neighborhoods and around crosswalks. 2. Drive slowly in residential areas and follow all posted speed limits. Avoid distractions like phones to stay focused on the road. 3. Use your headlights earlier in the day than usual to spot trick-or-treaters more easily. 4. Be cautious at driveways and intersections, watching for children who may cross unexpectedly. 5. Avoid alcohol if you’ll be driving—Halloween festivities can wait until you’re off the road. 6. Avoid distractions like phones to stay focused on the road. For Pedestrians & Trick-or-Treaters: 1. Make yourself visible by wearing reflective clothing and carrying a flashlight. 2. Use sidewalks when available, and look both ways before crossing the street. 3. Stay in groups and follow familiar routes. 4. Avoid costumes that limit vision or mobility, so you can move safely. 5. Stay alert and avoid distractions like phones when crossing streets. 6. Follow traffic signals and cross at marked crosswalks whenever possible. A safe Halloween is a happy Halloween! Fleet costs stay steady despite rising trends. Great news for fleet managers! After 10 months of cost increases, the latest data shows that ownership costs have stabilized in Q3 2024. Thanks to declining interest rates and lower fuel prices, expenses for vehicles across various categories have remained flat or decreased slightly. This is especially beneficial for fleets managing passenger cars and SUVs. https://lnkd.in/gN8sRkkr
