Empowering women to discover their ideal style with a blend of hand-picked selections and fashion-forward trends

About us

From what began as an empty storefront on West Franklin Street in 1992 at the heart of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, founder Julie Jennings has expanded Uniquities to five separate locations offering the most sought-after styles and bringing top brands across the fashion industry. The company has now widened to eCommerce shifting along an online business model that follows significant growth on a worldwide scale. Uniquities is a highly curated women's boutique, specializing in unique, ready-to-wear brands & premium denim. We feature an edited mix of emerging to established designer clothing and accessories including Iro, Ulla Johnson, Frame, Raquel Allegra, Mother, and See by Chloe. There is also a selection of vintage designer handbags like Chanel, Hermès, Valentino, and many more. The values reflected at Uniquities emphasize the importance of cooperation among our employees to develop authentic relationships with customers. All legitimate job positions will be publicized on this page so keep an eye out for any new opportunities! Uniquities’ recruitment staff and/or hiring supervisors will be sent through an @uniquities.com email address.

🌟 Employee Updates 🌟 A few words from North Hills Store Manager, Stacey Martonen: We are so excited to announce that North Hill’s long time Assistant Manager, Sophia Carpenter, will be moving to the Buying Office to pursue her love of merchandising & buying for Uniquities! Sophie is stepping into the role of Merchandise Assistant and will act as the liaison between the buying team and the stores to monitor merchandise quality, inventory levels, product displays and more. Although our North Hills team is sad to lose her, we couldn't be prouder of Sophie for making this career change and we look forward to working with her to grow our business! That being said, we are thrilled to share that we have promoted current Floor Manager Hannah Weyher to Assistant Manager! Hannah recently celebrated her one year mark with us and she has showed so much growth in the last year at Uniquities which made for a very easy decision on our part. She has such tenacity and a positive outlook on her new role with Uniquities. Hannah is always willing to lend a hand with whatever task is at bay and has the mindset of an encouraging leader. Over the last year, Hannah truly has brought so much joy to the North Hills team (she always keeps us laughing!) and there is no one more deserving than her for this role. We are so excited to see how she continues to grow & we know that there are big things ahead for her at Uniquities!

We just wrapped up our Village District Tent Sale which is one of the biggest sales of the year! Here's a recap of the last four days: - 700+ markdowns - 10 trips from the Warehouse to the store to deliver the goods - 1,400 units sold - 606 happy customers - 4 Starbucks runs for the team, 3 pizzas, and a handful of Chick Fil A sandwiches 😋 The Tent Sale helps clean our stores up to stay fresh and relevant for the new season, opens up our open-to-buy dollars for new products and placing reorders, and gives us a chance to say thank you to our customers by offering awesome in-season products at a deep discount. This event takes a massive amount of work and we're incredibly thankful for our Warehouse Team and Village District staff for the amount of hustle they gave to make it such a big success. And of course, we're beyond grateful for all of the customers that come out to dig for treasure and spend their hard earned dollars with us.  Bring on the summer!
