Today, on #IWD2024, we recognize the legacy of settlement house workers, who built a movement in which women inspire positive change within their communities. From settlement house leaders whose names we remember to many other unsung heroes, their impact still resonates today.

It’s still #BlackHistoryMonth! UNHNY would like to acknowledge & honor the contributions made by Black Americans who strived for equality within the #settlementhouse movement. Earlier this week, UNH was in Albany, fighting for many of our network’s policy goals. Our team focused on the Working Families Tax Credit, immigrant New Yorkers, parole justice, education & youth programs. We’re hand in hand with #settlementhouse staff to advance our shared advocacy priorities!
