Thanksgiving is around the corner—let's make it a Holiday Without Hunger. 🧡 Each year, we witness a heart-wrenching increase in families reaching out for assistance. Our numbers are rising—not just in the requests for help, but in the turkeys, potatoes, and pies we must gather to ensure every family in need of food can enjoy a warm holiday meal. Please donate to our Feed-A-Family campaign today: uwotc.org/feed. 🦃

A community-building organization bringing people together to care for one another.
About us
The United Way of Tri-County is a community building organization that brings people together to care for one another. We raise funds, connect volunteers, strengthen agencies, teach social responsibility, and meet the critical needs of the community with the help of people like you. The United Way understands that you want to make an impact in your community. Our 75 years of experience also tells us it takes a whole community working together to have lasting impact. That’s why we’re connected to all of our communities through business, government, faith groups, schools, agencies, and ordinary citizens. That way your donation not only goes further, it goes where it’s needed most. Using a system unique to United Way, volunteers who live and work in each of our 34 communities annually decide where funds are invested. Certified Partner Agencies submit requests for special program funding such as after school programs, affordable day care, job training, transportation for the elderly, and even basic needs like food and shelter. This Citizen Review Process ensures your contributions are invested in programs that meet the critical needs of our communities. We invite you to be part of the change. Together, united, we can inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.

You may have spotted our holiday ad on streaming services. Watch it below to learn more about Feed-A-Family, our most critical campaign of the year. 🦃 #HolidayWithoutHunger In a recent note to supporters, our President and CEO Paul Mina described the heart-wrenching increase we always witness in families reaching out for assistance this time of year. We see their faces etched with worry about where their next meal will come from. The numbers are rising—not just in the requests for help, but in the turkeys, potatoes, and pies we must gather to ensure that every family in need of food can share a warm Thanksgiving meal together. Donate at: uwotc.org/feed. 🧡 We have over 4,000 families to feed this holiday season. For those on the brink of hunger, the anxiety of not having enough to eat casts a long shadow over what should be a time of joy and gratitude. Our Feed-A-Family campaign enables us to meet the escalating need within our community. With every $50 donation to the Feed-A-Family campaign, you are not just giving food; you are providing a complete Thanksgiving meal to a family in need, allowing them to enjoy the spirit of the season with dignity and warmth. Together, we can transform worry into gratitude, ensuring that no one in our community has to face the holiday season with an empty plate. Donate today at: uwotc.org/feed. 💙

Dorothy and her dog Lucky dressed for Halloween to visit our Marlborough Community Cupboard. Dorothy has Crohn's disease and an ostomy bag, which limit what she can eat. She made a list that our volunteers were mostly able to accommodate, giving her items like gluten-free pasta, almond milk, canned chicken and pears. Dorothy is also looking forward to our Feed-A-Family turkey distribution to make herself a complete Thanksgiving meal. 🦃 This year we have 4,000 families like Dorothy's needing food assistance. Please help make it a #HolidayWithoutHunger by donating at: uwotc.org/feed. 🧡

Reginald is a part-time warehouse worker trying to pick up more hours and a bigger paycheck. In the meantime, Reginald needs our help. He goes to the Marlborough Community Cupboard and is grateful for the few bags of groceries—food, diapers and baby food—that help him and his wife get by. "I think one day I can help someone too," Reginald says. 💙 This year, we have 4,000 families like Reginald's needing food assistance. Please help make it a #HolidayWithoutHunger for him and every other neighbor in need. Donate to #FeedAFamily: uwotc.org/feed. 🦃

Darin earns his paycheck working at Home Depot, but it isn't enough to make ends meet. "My wife’s not working right now, she’s on disability," he says. Darin comes to our Pearl Street Cupboard & Café "when I absolutely need to"—and now is one of those times. "Money’s extremely tight right now." As the holiday season approaches, we face an urgent situation: more families in our community are reaching out for help than ever before. With Thanksgiving around the corner, we have 4,000 families in MetroWest in need, like Darin and his wife. "We used to go to my parents house for Thanksgiving, but they passed way," Darin said. He said it would be a big help to get a turkey and all the fixings from our Feed-A-Family program, so the cost of the holiday meal, just for himself and his wife, doesn't take a toll on his wallet. "When I buy it myself I have to skip a bill just to the following month," Darin said. Please consider sponsoring local families in need, like Darin's, and help make this a #HolidayWithoutHunger. Donate today at: uwotc.org/feed. 🦃
