At United Way of Cass-Clay, we invest in programs and innovative solutions best positioned to end poverty.

About us

United Way of Cass-Clay connects people to people, needs to resources, and experts to advocates to improve lives and advance the common good throughout Cass and Clay counties. OUR VISION is to inspire community-wide collaboration by providing the greatest return on investment in addressing the needs in our community. We serve local individuals who need support in creating better opportunities for themselves and their families. We empower those who make a commitment to LIVE UNITED by inviting them to give, advocate and volunteer for their community. Helping people is at the center of all we do. Everything we have ever done or ever will do will be centered on helping local individuals and families while addressing needs in our community. United Way’s work goes well beyond our historical role of funding strong non-profit partners. Today we are leveraging our investments, resources, volunteers, and corporate partnerships to deliver transformative, measurable results. United Way has undergone a dramatic shift in how we work to address needs in our community. From a historic community chest with a broad charitable mission, we have evolved into a critical community convener that mobilizes our partners, including businesses, community leaders, public officials, residents, and non-profit organizations. Dollars raised by United Way of Cass-Clay are strategically invested in 4 areas: • Reducing Hunger and Homelessness • Preparing Children to Succeed • Helping People Be Independent • Lifting People Out of Poverty Learn more: www.unitedwaycassclay.org www.facebook.com/unitedwayofcassclay www.twitter.com/UnitedWayFargo Contact our team: UnitedWay@unitedwaycassclay.org 701.237.5050

We love the opportunity to get together with our Verified Impact Partners and review what we've accomplished together! Did you know every 6 months we look at the number of people our dollars have been able to serve, share learns, discuss challenges, and work toward solutions? Well, we do! And that's how we ensure we are investing in the best programs that are doing the most good. Poverty is complicated. But when we work together toward the same mission, there is nothing we can't accomplish. United is the way we end poverty!

She asks good questions, has a sharp and strategic marketing mind, brings a wealth of experience and insight to our team, shows up with a can-do attitude, is a project management master, and uses every ounce of her talent and energy to change the lives of our neighbors in need. If you've read a social post, browsed our website, listened to a presentation, or saw United Way out and about in our community in the last 5 years, chances are Kaycee played a role in making that happen. And on top of it all, Kaycee keeps our team and volunteers smiling and laughing with her sense of humor and witty/fun personality. Thank you to Kaycee Stenger our Senior Director of Brand & Marketing Strategy, for your commitment of 5 years of making a difference through United Way!

Coalitions are a great example of how our community works together to create lasting change. One coalition we support is the Cass Clay Hunger Coalition. This group is committed to improving access to healthy food for people experiencing hunger, improving coordination and providing support to local hunger-relief agencies, and providing member organizations relevant education and training to best support our neighbors facing food insecurity. We’ve been deeply involved in the Cass Clay Hunger Coalition since it began and our team is excited to be a planning partner in this year’s annual summit. Join us on October 17 for the 7th Annual Hunger and Health Summit. All are welcome. RSVP and learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gsV9-_-W

🧠 Mental health has affected all of us in some way. ✋ And for those who need help, finding the right support can be a challenge - even for those in the best of circumstances. ❗ For those in poverty already struggling, it's often impossible. That's why United Way has made mental health a priority. We've brought together local experts, carefully examined the data, and will be investing in more programs to help our neighbors get access to the care they need. 🙌 United is the way we cultivate solutions to end poverty.
