At Universal, we view our interns as vital contributors, not just temporary team members. They bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas that help us push boundaries and achieve our goals. This week, we're thrilled to spotlight three incredible interns: Sydney Williams (Branding) – A graduate of Montclair State University, Sydney combines her passion for storytelling with a background in production and film. She excels at creating engaging content that resonates with the fitness community and highlights the powerful Animal brand. Jonathan Mindiak (Branding) – A graduate of Muhlenberg College, Jonathan collaborates closely with the Animal team. He leverages his experience as a cinematographer and editor, along with his certifications as a trainer and nutrition coach, to produce compelling and impactful content. Nicholas Chung (Human Resources) – A recent graduate from Rutgers University, Nick has been with us since March. He has taken ownership of various HR functions, including recruiting, benefits, and employee engagement, significantly advancing his professional journey in human resources. We’re proud to have such talented individuals on our team!

On September 20th, we held our Annual Town Hall and Company Picnic, a fantastic opportunity to hear important updates from our leadership team about the exciting changes ahead. But more than that, it was a celebration of our incredible team. After the Town Hall, we enjoyed a delicious catered lunch, fun games, and great prizes. Each employee was gifted a goody bag filled with stylish tumblers, and a T-shirt, symbolizing our unity as we move forward together. At Universal, we truly believe in giving back to our amazing staff and events like these highlight our commitment to building a vibrant, engaged community. Thank you to everyone who joined us—here’s to the exciting journey ahead. 

Universal Nutrition Gives Back ! Throughout the month of August, our team has been collecting school supplies to support the children in our New Brunswick community. We are thrilled to share our drop-off event in which we partnered with Erlinda Z. & New Brunswick Public Schools to deliver useful supplies , such as backpacks, binders, pens, and more. We at Universal Nutrition are extremely grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the success and wellness of the young minds within our community. We wish all students and parents a Happy Back-to-School!

Universal Nutrition is excited to spotlight our Consumer Engagement Manager, Juan Abreu! Juan has been a valued member of the Universal Nutrition team for nearly three years. His dedication and leadership are evident in all of his work, drawing on his experience from his time in the military. At Universal, we deeply value the skills and perspectives that veterans bring. Juan exemplifies these skills by the way he successfully leads his Consumer Experience Team. We are also excited to support Juan as he prepares to compete at the WRPF Powerlifting Meeting in Resurgence Barbell this weekend! Join us in cheering him on and continuing to represent Universal Nutrition!

Universal Nutrition Olympics Spirit: Bucket Pong Edition! This week, Universal Nutrition got into the Olympic spirit with our very own Bucket Pong Competition! Despite the weather trying to put a damper on things, we adapted and made some space in our shipping department to host the event. Teams battled it out in a thrilling bracket-style tournament, vying for our coveted gold, silver, and bronze prizes. A huge shoutout and congratulations to all our winners for their impressive skills and sportsmanship. And a big thank you to everyone who joined in and made this event such a blast! Here’s to more fun, teamwork, and team spirit in the future!

Animal is Now Mobile! We're excited to announce that Universal Nutrition's new wrapped van has hit the road! Keep an eye out for our Animal team as we visit different stores across the region. She consistently juggles multiple projects, meticulously manages lab results and costs, and supports production and cost reduction initiatives—all while maintaining top-notch quality programs. Her dedication has earned her the trust and respect of her entire team. Laura continually supports, develops, and advocates for her team members, embodying the essence of true leadership.
