  • It's National Hunger Action Month and University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Eaton and other local partners are working together to address food insecurity in Eaton County. The collaboration recently celebrated the installation of smart, refrigerated lockers designed to break down barriers to food security. The lockers are located outside the U-M Health Professional Building at 123 Lansing Street in Charlotte. Once open, the lockers will offer our most vulnerable community members with access to nutritious food 24 hours a day, seven days a week —allowing them to pick up what they need on their own schedule, securely and conveniently.
