UNO SCCJ is proud to house the Victimology and Victim Services Research Lab (VVSRL). This collaborative research team, consisting of faculty and students, engages in innovative studies focused on crime victims and victimization. Their work is instrumental in driving effective policy change, prevention strategies, and intervention approaches. The Flying Mavericks are heading to Nationals! The UNO Flight Team has secured their 16th consecutive spot at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA) SAFECON after an impressive second-place finish at the 2024 Region 6 competition! With a mix of young talent and veteran leadership, the team performed exceptionally well, competing against some of the top aviation schools in the region. Their hard work and dedication are a true testament to the spirit of aviation excellence fostered at the UNO Aviation Institute. We couldn’t be prouder of our Flying Mavs and their accomplishments.
