The Flying Mavericks are heading to Nationals! The UNO Flight Team has secured their 16th consecutive spot at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association’s (NIFA) SAFECON after an impressive second-place finish at the 2024 Region 6 competition! With a mix of young talent and veteran leadership, the team performed exceptionally well, competing against some of the top aviation schools in the region. Their hard work and dedication are a true testament to the spirit of aviation excellence fostered at the UNO Aviation Institute. We couldn’t be prouder of our Flying Mavs and their accomplishments.
