University of Oregon Student-Athlete Entrepreneur Spotlight: Vincent Mestler and Mester Athletics Mestler Athletics is a summer track and field camp for kids ages 9-14. The camp runs for 5 weeks during the summer, giving campers the option to register for just one week, all five weeks, or any combination in between. The camp was created by Oregon track and field member Vinny Mestler and is coached by his Oregon teammates along with local athletes from other NCAA schools such as Villanova University and University of Hawaii at Manoa. The goal of the camp is to grow the community of track and field in Eugene and ensure the kids have a positive and healthy relationship with the sport. Mestler Athletics just finished a very successful second year with record numbers, including multiple week sellouts! Plans are already being made for a return in the summer of 2025 for year three. Along with being a member of the Men's Track and Field/Cross Country programs, Vincent has been on the SAAC executive team for the past 2 years, serving as co-president for the 2023-2024 academic year.
