At Uprooted Academy, we are reshaping the future of college access by combining cutting-edge technology with essential mental health support. Our AI-powered, virtual platform is accessible 24/7, providing students the freedom to explore their options whenever and wherever they choose. We understand that the college application process can be overwhelming, so we offer comprehensive resources to support both the practical steps and the emotional journey. Our program is designed to build confidence and resilience, empowering students to thrive academically and personally.
Our Mission: Uprooted Academy is ruthless in its pursuit to alleviate the anxiety and confusion around the post-secondary selection and application process by offering high-quality and relatable programming to meet low-income, first-generation students of color where they are at and support them on a path to confidently achieve their dreams.
Who We Serve: Our focus is on first-generation, low-income students of color who often face unique challenges in their path to higher education. We support their journey by offering a variety of engaging resources, including an AI-driven platform filled with personalized content, virtual college and career fairs, and one-on-one guidance to help them discover their future college and career paths. Locally, we work with partners in LA County to ensure every student receives the college advising they need.
How We Make a Difference: By combining technology, mental health support, and strategic partnerships, we ensure that students are not only prepared for college but are also equipped to succeed in life. We’re actively looking for corporate sponsors to join us in this mission, providing students with the resources they need to achieve upward mobility and become future leaders.
