The annual hybrid Grants to States conference assists IMLS in training the State Library Administrative Agencies (SLAAs), which receives the largest amount of IMLS grant funding annually, while also proactively addressing compliance concerns. This year's event was held on September 18-19 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featuring more than 60 participants in person and almost 50 attending virtually. The IMLS Office of Research and Evaluation (ORE) co-sponsors the conference and organizes 2-3 sessions focused on data, evaluation, and research. #IMLSgrants #IMLSinyourstate The Grants to States program is the largest sources of federal funding for library services in the nation. Distributed through SLAAs in each of the 50 states, District of Columbia, the Territories, and the Freely Associated States, funds help with a variety of projects and services.
