According to new survey data, radiologists and providers are increasingly taking temporary roles ("locum tenens") in an effort to reduce burnout. And in fact, the survey data reveals that the leading reason for taking these roles is a desire for a better work schedule, with nearly 80% of respondents citing flexibility as their number one reason for considering temporary roles.
