Apply for the David Storrs US Sailing Match Racing Grant Program, designed to support passionate teams looking to compete at a higher level.  This competitive grant program provides reimbursement of up to $5,000 per team to cover entry fees, travel expenses, and lodging for an entire year. 🌟 Sailing Meets STEM: 2024 Reach Impact Report Released 🌟 US Sailing’s Reach Initiative continues to redefine STEM education, using sailing to inspire curiosity, promote hands-on learning, and foster environmental stewardship. The newly released 2024 Reach Impact Report highlights impressive growth and impact: ✅ Over 2,200 students reached with 29,308 hours of programming ✅ A 10% increase in participation ✅ A 57% student retention rate, reflecting lasting engagement This year, 10 new educators and 7 new partnerships joined the effort, supported by grants that helped local programs integrate STEM education into their activities. With over 100,000 youth benefiting annually, Reach is paving the way for the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers. ❄️ Ice Sailing Action at Lake Winnipesaukee! ⛵ The 2025 DN Eastern Regional Championship brought New England’s ice-sailing community together for an exhilarating weekend. With smooth 5” thick ice and light winds, 14 competitors raced for the title. 🏆 Congratulations to Chad Atkins, the champion, winning all six races!
