Students from Allatoona High School in Acworth, Georgia took advantage of their Career Day by visiting Special Agents and Administrative, Technical, and Professional personnel from the Atlanta Field Office (AFO) of the United States Secret Service (USSS) on March 21, 2025. Students explored potential career options, inquiring about the functions of the Secret Service. The USSS deploys a workforce that is highly motivated, well-trained, and equipped. AFO personnel shared the requirements to become special agents, whose work includes protective operations, counterfeiting and cyber-enabled financial crimes, and more, as well as sharing the rigorous requirements for those desiring to become officers of the Uniformed Division. #SecretService #CareerOpportunities #USSSATL

Secret Service agents are on the frontline protecting Americans from financial fraud. EBT fraud has been on the rise Nationally due to card skimming. "Skimming is a big part of the SNAP EBT fraud," Assistant Special Agent in Charge James Morley of the U.S. Secret Service - Chicago Field Office said.
