The USA Basketball’s Coach License program has significantly impacted today's highly competitive coaching realm. Our very own Senior Director of Hawks Basketball Academy, Chris Jacobs, recognizes the value of what the USA Basketball’s Coach License program offers. We require our youth coaches to become licensed through USA Basketball to continue providing on-court training for young players at every skill level and be a part of this process here in Georgia. By completing the program, coaches can establish credibility by joining the national standard in coach education and safety while receiving recognition as a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach.   "Our part-time youth development coaches, they're the ones who really have an impact with the kids on the floor," Jacobs said. "USA Basketball's Coach License program gives us the opportunity to provide our coaches with professional development so they get access to these tools and resources that are available to them.
