  • As a DMM alum, Daniela Asher has turned her capstone project, Fair Winds Charter Co., into a successful business. Inspired by her professors, she launched her venture with a clear vision: "Professor Joseph Itaya spoke to us about finding our "ikigai" and challenged us to start working on our capstone during our first class at USC. He and all my professors inspired me to dig deeper and start working toward my capstone. I had many iterations of my project, trying to narrow down my branding and how to reach customers. During my last semester at USC, I launched Fair Winds Charter Co, created a website and commercial, and partnered with one of my competitors to use their marine activity map. In return, I helped them with their marketing. They promote my boats, and I encourage theirs, and I use their sales team. The USC DMM program has not only equipped me but also helped me in determining my career path. More than ever, I am confident in what I want to do and who I want to be, and I have the confidence to step out and do it. The DMM program has been life-changing, and I am forever grateful to have been accepted into the program and to be where I am today. The program professors pushed us to excellence and encouraged us not to settle for mediocrity but to strive to be the best." Daniela Asher's journey truly exemplifies the transformative impact of the DMM program! Check out her work here: ✅ Brand collaboration: https://buff.ly/4fCyVwW ✅ Commercial: https://buff.ly/4hDZkMY
