About us

Founded in 2013, USCAPE is a lifestyle apparel brand that focuses on representing the places you love, the things you do and the individual you are. What began as a class project at Bucknell University has grown into the leading hyper-local brand in the industry. USCAPE blurs the line between spirit and lifestyle, because we believe you should never have to choose. Whether that's your college, favorite ski resort, the hometown you grew up in, or your favorite thing to do, we’re here to help you tell your story. To help you remember the epic trips, that time you rushed the field, and all the memories that make us who we are.

Today is Launch Day for the USCAPE x Seager Cattle Brand Cowboy Hat Collection, exclusively available on Fanatics. This project has been secretly in the works with our amazing partners at Fanatics & Seager for nearly a year! It was September of last year when Case Anderson and I first started talking about a collaboration to bring licensed, authentic cowboy hats to market. Zach Slaughter and I were watching College Gameday in Boulder, with Deion rocking a cowboy hat. After quickly realizing there wasn’t a single licensed product in the marketplace, I knew we were onto something big. Carolyne Casaine shared a similar mindset and immediately said YES to making this project a GO with Fanatics! Fast forward after countless hours of planning calls, studio shoots both near and far, and working with licensing directors, agencies, marketing teams, and manufacturers—I am so proud to finally share with the world what we’ve been working on! The first & only authentic, USA-made NCAA cowboy hats are now available. Get 'em while you can—they won’t last 🤠 Thanks to everyone involved in this project, including Case Anderson Elliott Shaw Carolyne Casaine Nate Klein Mike Carlton Riley Bolduc Eli Paul and so many more! PS – If your school didn’t make the program, there’s always next year! 😉

From the Garage to HQ number 4! 🚀 I've been quiet on here the last couple months as we have some massive projects underway at USCAPE - one of which was the move into our first standalone building in Irvine for our newest HQ and manufacturing facility! Back in July 2015, I moved back to Orange County to try and turn this idea into a real business. Over the years we've come a long way, from my parents garage, to a small space in Irvine, then two spaces in Lake Forest, and finally our newest facility in a standalone building in the heart of Irvine. Its been an absolute grind these past 10 years, and I've often asked myself if this is all truly worth it. Stepping back and looking at what we've been able to accomplish in an industry where we were told for years we'd never make it, the caliber of team we've assembled with people who are truly like family and some of my closest friends, and what our business looks like today, I can't help but smile knowing I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. 💪 Going on 10 years of the same family ownership with Emily Nowlin, and still true to our Orange County roots, I can confidently say this is just the start! With 3X more space, and 5X daily production capacity we're ready for our next big leg of growth. 📈 Fresh merchandise served up daily! #USCAPE #Irvine #New

Great partners like Follett Higher Education help us connect with the university community each and every day. We take pride in intentional and authentic merchandise, and it would not be possible without the support of our partners.  Thank you, Jeri Stoeber, for the thoughtful merchandising and sharing the many special ways you and the team make an impact daily.

Celebrating my 2* year anniversary with Follett Higher Education and New York University (minus a few months while I adjusted to grad school life). I’ve been reflecting on what it is I love about this job and college bookstore work in general, and will try to express that in a few every-day moments: —working with a supportive collaborative team to build beautiful displays and shopping experiences —getting to know our college student employees and hearing about their hopes and plans for the future (as well as sharing my secret Taylor Swift obsession with a few of them!) —helping families of newly accepted future students find merch for every friend and relative and seeing the glow of pride in the eyes of everyone —listening to high schoolers on campus tours talk about how NYU is their dream school. Watching as they choose a tshirt to help set that intention. —representing this legendary university to every visitor, be it student, tourist, hopeful applicant, alumni, or faculty. There’s nothing better than explaining why this school, in this neighborhood, in this city is so special. And most of all, thank you to my management team at Follett Higher Education for keeping focus on the schools and people that we serve every day. It always seems like we just finished up graduation season before it’s time to start over again with Fall rush! This table is a little bit of summer before we start the new school year. Cheers everyone—now let’s all go to the beach! #retailing #customerexperience #visualmerchandiser USCAPE Trove Brands Hydro Flask

This Earth Day has been a day to reflect on sustainable practices. Since early 2023, USCAPE has joined 1% for the Planet and introduced our 100% recycled apparel line, Renew. As of April 2024, the 100% recycled collection, Renew and its manufacturing process has attributed towards 45,133,568 gallons of water saved and over 18,422 pounds of waste diverted from landfills. We hope that this journey of being a more sustainable brand includes continued education, conversations with stakeholders, and innovation of manufacturing materials. One quantitative goal of USCAPE is that 75% or more of our brand sales in products made using sustainable materials by 2030.

Such a great first day of the Sports Licensing & Tailgate Show! Our first year exhibiting was 2017. Emily, Lauren, and I had our 10x10 booth we drove out the night before, and no one had any idea who we were. It’s been such a crazy journey with USCAPE and I’m so proud of our team & brand! After ten years, the excitement about what we’re doing and our new product lines has never been higher. It’s a great time to be team USCAPE! Thank you to all our great customers new and old who’ve helped us on this incredible journey. We’re just getting started! #apparel #brand #tradeshow #marketing #sustainability #college

Over the past decade, we’ve learned a thing or two as a brand about the way our industry makes clothing. While we’re in no way experts, and are still learning every day, the biggest thing we’ve come to recognize is that our industry consumes a ton of resources and generates a lot of waste. This waste problem in our industry is one of those things that once you have seen, you cannot unsee. We knew this is where our focus on sustainable practices as a brand needed to start. With waste. We invite you to watch our short film to learn more about this story and the journey our brand has been on the last year and what our future looks like. RENEW - Our Journey toward Better Made Goods
