When Heritage Elementary teacher Emma Reabe's 4th graders read about pets separated from their owners due to Hurricane Helene, they jumped into action. Planning. Organizing. Reading. De Pere High School has again been named an AP (Advanced Placement) Pacesetter School. During the 23-24 school year: ✨746 AP exams were taken by DPHS students ✨86% earned scores of 3 or above (scale of 1-5) on the exams De Pere is 1 of 61 high schools in Wisconsin to achieve AP Pacesetter Level 1 or 2 status. We believe rigorous AP coursework can support students’ learning, positively impact their future and normalize higher expectations for all students. #EducationalExcellence  #DPride

#Farmtoschool means so much more when the farmers are deeply rooted in the school. Our garlic farmers from Mancheski Gardens are also our own school nutrition staff and student. Walk back in time from service to sowing our October #harvestofthemonth, garlic, that was fed to our elementary school lunch participants today. 200 bulbs at 45 pounds of love-grown garlic was made into garlic butter which was spread atop French bread loaves. Fear not for the pizzeria smell that the kiddos were drooling over during recess today will return to serve the upper graders later this month.
