One of our followers, ask you the next. Can you give him any advice in the comments? 🔊 Hello, Unreal Engine community, I'm seeking recommendations on machine specifications for Unreal Engine game development basic and advanced. I lack expertise in this area as someone from the computer network domain. Could those experienced with Unreal Engine development kindly share their suggested configurations and any tips on where to find detailed specifications? Your insights would be greatly appreciated! Best regards,

Metahuman face animation extracted from the scene from FightClub movie downloaded from YT. This is one shot from my bigger personal workinprogress project. The idea is to take some iconic actors performance from movies in very poor technical quality and convert the animation into quality face animation asset for metahuman in Unreal Engine. One layer of this work is the proof of concept for my own new non-traditional workflow for capturing the face animations. Not only from traditional HMC - 2 calibrated cameras on actor´s helmet. It can be only one camera now or any video source. Second layer is a personal face animation study of greatest face moving performances of all times. I pick the form of „kind of black-iron“ sculpture as a reference and tribute for Franz Xavier Messerschmidt, great sculptor from 18th century. This is personal noncommercial experimental rnd work. Used tools and SW: DaVinci Resolve, UnrealEngine, Blender, ComfyUI [models: Supir and DepthAnything] WF is acctually completely free [at least for non-comm] #metahuman #unrealengine #faceanimation #animation #facemocap

Connecting aspiring artists & creatives with top schools and career opportunities | The Rookies is trusted by Adobe, Dell, and various Software, Hardware, and Studio partners
When was the last time you gave a high five? Today, I thought I would share more about interactive participation on The Rookies platform and the importance of the 'High Five'! Giving and receiving constructive feedback is a foundational soft skill in any industry, and The Rookies serves as a safe and supportive platform to develop this skill. Try commenting on peers' work and offer insightful feedback via the project area on The Rookies. This interaction sets the foundation for reciprocity, as others are likely to return the favour! The more comments a project receives, the higher it ranks in searches, and the easier it is for our team to discover trending projects. While leaving feedback, consider leaving a 'High Five.' Giving a 'High Five' is a gesture of appreciation and acknowledgment, with the added benefit of serving as a bookmarking tool for inspiration. Whenever you give a High Five, it's saved to your artist's profile, forming a visual reference gallery for future projects. The more high fives, the more popular a project becomes. This is the primary factor for discovering the best work from our community members. Here are a few suggestions for some high fiving today - have fun! https://lnkd.in/g9pBbTUm - Simone Palai https://lnkd.in/gwPMc_bm - Adrián Valiente González https://lnkd.in/g688gGEf - Supreetha G Indrakumar https://lnkd.in/gXeVVtx6 - Beatrice Ferretti

New 2024 pricing model¡ Check it out¡
New Unreal Engine pricing and licensing is coming in late April. For most creators of non-game projects whose company revenue is less than $1M USD per year, Unreal Engine will be free to use—and you get Twinmotion and RealityCapture too! Over that threshold, you’ll need to purchase annual subscription seats at $1,850 USD. There’s no change for game devs: your first $1M USD in revenue is still royalty-free. Get ALL the details in our blog: https://lnkd.in/ePpGpzNX
