Always a good day when I get to share a new Tusk customer success story. This time with Prefix Maintenance :) The Prefix team found themselves needing to boost their engineering productivity while staying lean. The two main obstacles they faced were: 1. Cold start problem of taking on large, complex tickets from scratch 2. Menial frontend tickets requiring engineers to context-switch With Tusk, Daniel García at Prefix overcame "coder's block" when working on large tickets. He would fire off multiple Tusk issues to run async, checkout the 80% complete branches, then add the remaining 20% within his IDE before merging the PR. This allowed the team to ship net new features 2x faster, seeing 15x in ROI. Working with Daniel, Jared, and the dedicated Prefix team has been an absolute pleasure for Sohil, Jun Yu, and me. Pumped to make Tusk even better for this use case!

Excited to announce that Tusk is partnering with Momentic to bring AI testing superpowers to our AI coding agent. Today we’re releasing Automated Browser Testing. Tusk is now the first AI coding agent capable of autonomously testing its frontend changes and iterating on them like a human engineer would. Automated Browser Testing builds on top of Momentic’s SOTA web agent. We generate testing steps in natural language and replicate user flows live in a browser on-demand. We’re excited to partner with the Momentic team for this key milestone. Get the power of Tusk’s code generation with the peace of mind that every ticket is validated in a real, live browser. We're launching something big for Tusk (YC W24) soon. Big enough to give us a step change improvement in agent reliability. And we're looking for beta users. Without spoiling the surprise, we've created a way for our coding agent to emulate how an engineer would test their frontend changes. If you're an engineer or PM on a team that deploys preview environments on every pull request (e.g., Vercel preview links), reach out to me in the comments or over DM and I can provide beta access if it's a fit. Hey friends, Tusk (YC W24) is live on Product Hunt! Our AI agent helps product teams auto-fix UI issues from ticket to pull request. We launched our beta at the start of the year with a select group of companies while we were in the Y Combinator W24 batch. We’ve since battle-tested our agent across a variety of production tasks in mature, complex codebases. Sohil, Jun Yu, and I are proud to announce our latest feature releases and a special launch discount. I’d really appreciate your support!
