October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and aims to promote screening and prevention of the disease, which affects 2.3 million women worldwide. Men are also affected by breast cancer, with approximately 1% of cases occurring in male patients. USFN honors those we have lost to the disease, as well as everyone still fighting breast cancer. We also express our gratitude to the medical professionals and health researchers working tirelessly to find a cure. In 2024, more than 360,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Early detection is key in increasing the chances of survival.
