Wildfire season is here. Here’s your quick guide to understanding wildfires 🌲 Wildfire follows known paths (aka fire regimes). In recent years, these paths have expanded. Wildfire advances in three ways: 1. Flying embers 2. Direct Flames 3. Radiant Heat Did you know? Fine, dry and combustible materials ignite easily, while hydrated materials must be dried to burn. Plus, it takes greater heat to ignite large materials than fine materials. Keep your home and loved ones safe this wildfire season ⛑️. Read more in our Wildfire Defense Toolkit, developed by California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) 🔗: https://lnkd.in/gsfEt8ED Plus, check out our Wildfire Defense + Extreme Heat trainings schedule to get certified on how to protect your community and property: https://lnkd.in/gQDZ-jhA   Up Next ⬇️ Stay tuned for the next Wildfire post, where you can learn “How to: Increase the Chances of a Property Surviving a Wildfire” 🏘️
