Late last year, USG employees helped naming a new Levelrock® product. Out of over 400 names submitted across USG’s network, Jerry Wonderlich, Quality Manager – Kansas City, was selected as the winner for the newly named “USG Levelrock® Brand 2500 LFD.” This new product is the first of its kind in lightweight solutions, weighing 18% lighter than traditional gypsum underlayments and drying up to 40% faster than previous USG Levelrock® gypsum underlayments. Each of these qualities lead to the inspiration behind Jerry’s submission, “USG Levelrock® Brand LFD,” which stands for Lightweight, Fast-Drying.
