Today, at SOFWERX, we hosted the USSOCOM Teen Leadership Program. These future leaders learned how to solder, build robots, and use critical thinking skills and teamwork to solve these tasks.

The United States Air Force has named the 12 Outstanding #Airmen of the Year for 2024 and SrA Jacob Cummings from the 352nd Special Operations Wing will represent Air Force Special Operations Command. Outstanding Airman of the Year represents the service’s top enlisted members from each of the major commands. As an OAY winner Cummings will wear the Outstanding Airman of the Year Ribbon with the bronze service star device on the ribbon. He will also be authorized to wear the OAY badge for one year from the date of formal presentation. Cummings represents the epitome of an #AirCommando – embodying extreme competency, creative problem solving and a bias for action. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. #WhyIServe #CampMackall #People For more than 70 years, #SWCS has provided highly trained #ARSOF Soldiers and currently offers over 100 separate courses from Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations to Foreign Language and Special Forces Assessment and Selection.

Over the last two weeks, Naval Special Warfare (NSW) operators conducted realistic, advanced-tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) and Multiple Assault Counter - Terrorism Action Capabilities Operator Course (MACTAC) training with their Republic of Korea (ROK) Naval Special Warfare Flotilla counterparts, Special Operations Unit ROK police, and ROK Coast Guard’s Sea Special Attack Team. NSW are our nation’s elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the reach Joint forces as well as gain and maintain access in competition and conflict in any theater. This localized training was hosted by the ROK Coast Guard’s SSAT and focused on our ability to work together at the tactical level, while also improving life-saving skills in simulated combat scenarios. Special operations forces conduct routine training repetitions and maintain readiness for a variety of situations, ensuring we maintain an credible integrated deterrence posture and can defend against aggression if needed. #sockor #wegotogether #ConcilioProveho USSOCOM
