The UAE delegation, led by HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, concluded its successful participation at this year’s SelectUSA Investment Summit 2024 organized by the US Department of Commerce. The UAE's bilateral non-oil foreign trade with the USA amounted to $40 billion in 2023. Additionally, the UAE’s total investment in the US reached $38 billion. Platforms such as SelectUSA helps further identify the untapped potential between both countries and we are confident that our trade and investment figures will further advance as a result of our participation. During the visit, the US-UAE Business Council held a special briefing for over 50 U.S. companies and think tanks on our CEPA Agenda. I had the pleasure of highlighting CEPA's role in driving greater trade liberalization and increasing bilateral trade and investment opportunities in new and emerging markets, and invited the US businesses based in the UAE to utilize the benefits and opportunities our CEPA brings.
