Founded in 1904, Utah Food Bank has operated under various names but has always remained true to our mission of Fighting Hunger Statewide. 317,000 Utahns, which equates to 1 in 10 individuals, are at risk of missing a meal today. Even more alarming is that 1 in 10 Utah kids are unsure where their next meal is coming from. With your support last year, we distributed 43.3 million pounds of food, the equivalent of 36.1 million meals, to people facing hunger across the state.

Today, I had the privilege of volunteering with my colleagues from Goldman Sachs through our Community TeamWorks (CTW) program at the Utah Food Bank. It was a truly rewarding experience to step out of the office and contribute to the community alongside an amazing team. The Utah Food Bank, plays a critical role in fighting hunger across the state. They provide food assistance to those in need, reaching every corner of Utah through their network. Being part of this mission today reminded me of the importance of giving back and the impact we can have beyond our everyday work.
