40 Under 40 Spotlight: Tasha Brown, Co-Founder at Ayara 🏠 Tasha Brown is a transformer of spaces. Alongside Lori Frost, the two co-founders crafted a wallpaper company that collaborates closely with interior designers, builders and influencer partnerships. Ayara has been featured in the Parade of Homes multiple times (including this year!) and scaled to 400% growth rate from 2023, now including 22 worldwide artists and an all-female team of 10+ installers. 📈 Before entering interior design, Tasha graduated in social work. Her specific focus was bringing awareness to sex trafficking and helping rehabilitate minors in Utah. Her philanthropic heart still beats, as she oversees Ayara’s give-back program, which has worked with the Children’s Justice Center, the Cougar Project and other local organizations. For Tasha and the Ayara team, it’s not just about the wallpaper. Photo by Dani Corbett at Bridle Up Hope. “The idea of women feeding in dirty bathroom stalls and hot parked cars made my heart ache.” 💔 Lindsay White, Founder + CEO of The Little Milk Bar, was breastfeeding her son at a wedding when she was told she should feed him in the bathroom. “In that moment, I knew I wanted to start a company that empowered breastfeeding parents,” she says. Fighting against the backlash, The Little Milk Bar was founded. 🍼 The company started selling empowering merch (like the classic “Milk Maker” tee), then slowly began introducing reusable nursing pads, nursing bras and nursing tanks — designed in-house. Here’s a bit about Lindsay, the Milk Making queen. 👑 Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your work? A: Seeing how we've changed people's lives has absolutely been the most rewarding. Before us, breastfeeding content was considered "sexual content" and banned from social media. Reading all the emails and DM's that come from moms who breastfeed for the first time in public because we gave them the courage … that's worth it all right there. Q: What’s your most popular product? A: The Allie Bra keeps selling out, we can't keep it in stock! New moms are loving them for postpartum, sleeping and lounging. Q: Share a bit of advice for those wanting to pursue a path of advocacy + business. A: "No te asustes" — don't be scared. You will get a ton of backlash from all angles — family, friends, followers. But if you're advocating for something you truly believe in, you have to power through and stay focused on the bigger picture. Don't be afraid to post things that go against the grain. Q: Any exciting goals for TLMB’s future? A: TLMB will be a household name for all things breastfeeding. We have a brand new product we're releasing soon, something we've NEVER done before and it's a little scary, but really exciting. Our first non-clothing item — eek! #thelittlemilkbar #breastfeeding #breastfeedingadvocacy #womenadvocacy #womeninbusiness #womenownedbusiness #utahvalleybusiness

Trell Morse had plans to play college baseball and get a degree. However, after starting his baseball career at Salt Lake Community College, an arm injury changed his plans. While taking classes at SLCC, he needed to find ways to make some extra money. He turned to his love of cars — which led to creating Morse Detailing & Customs. 🚗 To deck out his services, he turned to Central Bank of Utah for a boost. “I knew I would need money to buy specialized equipment,” he says. “I’m 25 years old, and most banks won’t even talk to you if you’re that young. That’s the difference with Central Bank. They are local. They will take a chance on a young entrepreneur.” Now, people travel from all parts of Utah and beyond to work with Morse Detailing & Customs. They offer detailing, window tinting, vinyl wraps, paint protection film and custom painting for clients of all types. For now, Trell’s services are available only at his one location in Spanish Fork. However, he’s excited to expand and knows Central Bank will help his business journey. #morsedetailing #cardetailing #mobiledetailing #centralbank #smallbusiness #utahvalleybusiness

Hot. Cold. Rest. Repeat. ♨️ 🧊 Sean Foster and Lauren Foster have created a niche Nordic style sauna right in Utah Valley - PLUNJ. PLUNJ is a contrast therapy studio — a small, cozy space drawing from Scandinavian bath house culture dedicated to boosting mental and physical health, and communal connection. The regimen looks like this: - Spend up to 15 minutes in the sauna - Rinse off in the bucket shower - Spend up to 5 minutes in the cold plunge - Rest and rehydrate for 3 to 5 minutes - Repeat "[While we were practicing this], we wanted people to know what we were experiencing," Lauren says. "It was such an apparent difference on the physical side, but the mental side was also mind-blowing. We wanted people to be part of it." PLUNJ opened the doors of its Provo location in June 2021, then its franchise location in Saratoga Springs in 2023. The team is currently in the buildout phase of 3 additional locations, with 10 more in the planning phase across the country. Fun fact: PLUNJ loves local business — using Wadsworth Design Inc. for furniture, fixtures and equipment, and Sun River Gardens, Inc. for plants. 40 Under 40 spotlight: Victoria Vergara, CEO at Wilkinsons. Victoria Vergara is the CEO and main sales force for Wilkinson’s, one of Utah’s top choices for awards, apparel and promo. Not many can say they became CEO at 23 years old, but Tori is unrelenting in living out her legacy: “To show the ladies that we can be bold, we can be in charge, and we can overcome impossible challenges.” Before her 25th birthday, she reached over $2 million in sales personally, because, as she believes, proper CEOs should lead by example. Oh… did we mention that Wilkinson’s swag was repped by Dwayne Wade? On top of being a self-motivated leader, Tori mentors kids in the Provo CAPS (Center for Advanced Professional Studies) program and is an active sponsor and participant with RaYnbow Collective non-profit.
