Her insightful article, "Why Do Some Women Justify Gender Inequity?", dives deep into the compelling research supporting gender diversity in leadership. As Susan highlights, "When there are more equal numbers of men and women working and serving in these roles together, there is stronger financial performance, increased innovation, improved creativity, better team decision-making, greater team problem-solving, better team performance on highly complex tasks, increased knowledge formation, higher social sensitivity and even higher collective intelligence." Utah is among the three lowest states for mammography screening rates in women aged 40 years and older, despite the research that shows a mammography reduces breast cancer mortality and is a critical screening tool that can increase the chance of early detection and treatment. In May 2023, the Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) updated its research snapshot titled, Mammography Among Utah Women: A 2023 Update. Thanks to the report authors, Dr. Chloe Bhowmick and Sadie Wilde. Reports can be accessed on our website at utwomen.org. Read the article at https://lnkd.in/gKmgPPtQ. 💙
