We are wishing our utility member- Georgia Power Company and their dedicated employees, as well as everyone recently affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, a speedy and safe recovery! We also want to thank our other utility members, Baltimore Gas and Electric, SEMO Electric Cooperative & GoSEMO Fiber, Liberty Utilities Ltd, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company who are helping on the ground to get the power back on to all those effected by both hurricanes. Natural disasters like these are stark reminders of the importance of #EmergencyPreparedness for utilities. Being headquartered in the Southeastern U.S., #U2030 Founder and Executive Director Vanessa Edmonds is no stranger to hurricane season, and is helping out on the ground with recovery efforts through Samaritan's Purse in Georgia.
