As Ramadan continues, we at Vagaro recognize the significance of this sacred time for many in our community. It’s a month of reflection, patience, and togetherness—a time to grow spiritually and connect with loved ones. To honor this observance, we’re spotlighting employees throughout the month to learn more about what Ramadan means to them. First up is Freshta S. 🌙 How do you typically observe Ramadan? "I observe Ramadan by fasting from sunrise to sunset. I make an active effort to be more mindful of my actions and intentions. This is a time where practicing patience, kindness, gratitude, and faith really counts." 🌙 What’s one lesson Ramadan has taught you that you carry throughout the year? "Patience and discipline. Beyond just fasting, Ramadan teaches me to be mindful of my prayers, words, and thoughts, helping me evolve into a better person each year. It’s not just about waiting for sunset to eat; it’s about maintaining positivity despite hunger, thirst, and exhaustion. A strong mindset makes the experience even more rewarding." 🌙 What traditions do you and your family follow? "Gathering for dinner. Nothing beats sitting down, saying a prayer, and breaking my fast with a date and water alongside my loved ones. Another important tradition for my family is donating to those in need—whether through food or money, giving back is an essential part of Ramadan for us." We’re grateful to Freshta for sharing her experience and for reminding us of the values of patience, gratitude, and generosity.
